There are many voices in the world today claiming that faith and reason cannot live in the same house. Some say science has buried belief in God. Others claim Christianity is built on blind faith and ancient myths. But when you begin to seriously examine the evidence—historical, scientific, and textual—you discover something remarkable: the Christian faith stands on a solid foundation.

That is the purpose of this website.

Reasons to Believe exists to explore the evidence for the truth of Christianity and to show that faith in Christ is not a leap into the dark—it is a step into the light.

My goal is simple: to help believers strengthen their confidence in the truth of God's Word and to provide honest seekers with reasons to seriously consider the claims of Jesus Christ.

Many of the articles you will find here were written over the years during my personal research and study. Some were originally drafted as material intended for books that I was working on but that never made it into the final manuscript. Rather than letting that research sit unused, I decided to share it here so others could benefit from it.

Alongside those older pieces, you will also find new articles written specifically for this site as I continue studying, researching, and responding to questions that arise in conversations about faith, history, and science.

My approach is simple: follow the evidence wherever it leads and examine the claims of Christianity carefully and honestly.

The Christian faith does not fear investigation. In fact, the deeper one digs into history, the more clearly the figure of Jesus Christ stands out. The closer we examine the manuscripts of the New Testament, the more confident we become that the text has been faithfully preserved. And the more we study the complexity and order of the universe, the more difficult it becomes to deny the marks of intelligent design.

If you are a believer, my hope is that these articles will strengthen your faith and equip you to defend it.

If you are a skeptic or someone simply exploring the claims of Christianity, I invite you to read with an open mind and examine the evidence for yourself.
