The History of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture Theory: Origins in a 19th-Century Vision, Not Apostolic Teaching

Image
Many today assume the pre-tribulation rapture—the teaching that the Church will be secretly removed before the Tribulation, Antichrist, or any great persecution—has been the historic Christian belief from the beginning. An investigative examination of primary sources, early writings, and the doctrinal trail shows otherwise. The distinct pre-tribulation doctrine emerged in the 19th century, sparked by a young woman's visionary experience in 1830, then refined and spread through key figures. In contrast, the early Church, Reformers, and Puritans consistently taught that believers would face Satan's wrath and persecution, enduring until deliverance at the last trumpet, just before God's final wrath falls. The 1830 Vision of Margaret MacDonald In early 1830, Margaret MacDonald (born 1815), a 15-year-old from Port Glasgow, Scotland, lay ill and bedridden. Amid a season of reported spiritual gifts and prayer meetings, she experienced visions and uttered prophetic words, recorded ...

The Christian’s Duty:

Image
Many today call themselves Christians simply because they bear the name of Christ. Yet there is a growing belief—even within the church—that loving someone means accepting them exactly as they are without warning them about sin or judgment. People say things like: “Everyone has a right to their beliefs.” “It’s not my place to judge.” “My life should speak louder than my words.” But these statements often become excuses to avoid a responsibility clearly commanded in Scripture. According to the Word of God, true love does not remain silent when someone is headed toward destruction. The Bible speaks directly to this issue:  “Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.” — Leviticus 19:17 (KJV) Notice the command carefully. God does not say rebuking someone is hatred. In fact, He says the opposite. If we refuse to warn someone about sin, we are allowing that sin to remain upon them. Silence, in this cas...

Why Holiness Still Matters: The Biblical Path to Seeing the Lord

Image
There is a call that echoes from Genesis to Revelation—a call that has never changed and never will. It is the call of God to His people: holiness. In a generation filled with compromise, distraction, and lukewarm devotion, the Word of God still declares with clarity: “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” — 1 Peter 1:15–16 Holiness is not a suggestion for the Christian life. It is the very nature of the life God calls His people to live. God Himself is holy, and those who belong to Him are called to reflect that holiness in their lives. Scripture also gives a sober warning that many today prefer to ignore:  “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.” — Hebrews 12:14 This truth should cause every believer to examine their heart. Holiness is not merely an outward form of religion or a list of rules. It is the evidence that a life has truly been t...

The 3I/ATLAS Deception: Is It a High-Tech Hologram or a Sign of Biblical End-Times Beings Returning?

Image
In mid-2025, astronomers spotted a strange object coming from outside our solar system. They called it **3I/ATLAS** (or sometimes just 3I/Atlas). NASA and major observatories said it was a comet — basically a big chunk of ice and rock on a one-time trip through our neighborhood. It was discovered on July 1, 2025, reached its closest point to the Sun (perihelion) on October 29, 2025, and passed closest to Earth on December 19, 2025 (1)(2). But a lot of details don't match what we'd expect from a normal comet. This has led some to wonder: Could this be a man-made fake, like a huge hologram projected in the sky to scare people? Or could it tie into Bible prophecy about the Nephilim — those giant hybrid beings from Genesis 6 — coming back disguised to trick the world into one global government and one blended religion? Let's break down the main facts simply. Here are some of the strange things (called anomalies) about 3I/ATLAS: - It loses material (mass) in an extreme way that ...

Is Your Fire Still Burning?

Image
The Fire Must Never Go Out In the Old Testament, God gave a command that still speaks with power today. When He established the priesthood and the altar, He did not leave room for casual devotion. In Leviticus 6:12–13, the Lord commanded: “And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out… The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.” That wasn’t symbolic language. It was literal. The priests were responsible to tend it day and night. Every morning they added wood. Every day they removed the ashes. The flame was constant. Why? Because the fire represented God’s presence and the continual offering before Him. If the fire went out, the sacrifice stopped. Let that sink in. The fire was not self-sustaining. God lit it (Leviticus 9:24), but the priests had to maintain it. The same is true for us. God ignites the flame. But we are responsible to keep it burning. Faith Is Fed by the Word The Bible tells us plainly:  “So then faith ...

The War Against God and His Word

Image
Have you ever stopped to think about why, when someone experiences sudden pain or anger—like stubbing their toe or hammering their thumb—they often blurt out the name of Jesus Christ as a curse? It's seldom the name of any other religious figure, such as Buddha or Muhammad, and you never hear people profaning the names of their beloved family members, like their mother or father, in such moments. This selective targeting isn't random; it points to a deeper, spiritual antagonism toward the one name that embodies divine authority and salvation. As the Bible states, "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father".(1) Jesus anticipated this kind of hatred, warning His followers: "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: ...

Rediscovering God's Appointed Times – From Shadows to Fulfillment

Image
As I continue this journey in my blog, my heart swells with a mix of sorrow and excitement. In the previous chapter, we peeled back the layers of tradition surrounding Christmas, revealing its pagan roots and the well-intentioned but misguided attempts to "Christianize" them. Now, for those who may feel a void—those wondering, "If not Christmas or Easter, then how do we celebrate the birth and resurrection of our Lord?"—this chapter offers a beautiful alternative rooted not in human invention, but in the very Word of God. We're not abandoning celebration; we're reclaiming it in its purest form. The early church, comprised of both Jewish and Gentile believers, didn't need Roman holidays to honor Christ. Before Constantine's influence in the fourth century, they observed the biblical feast days outlined in Leviticus 23. These weren't mere "Jewish holidays"; they were God's holy convocations, designed as eternal signposts pointing to t...
